The Süddeutsche Zeitung’s Economic Summit is Germany’s most important economic congress: Nowhere else can you experience so many high calibre speakers from business and politics than at the Hotel Adlon in Berlin each year.
At the heart of the capital city CEOs from Dax companies and the heads of European corporations discuss central themes of importance to the economy with the owners and managing directors of successful medium-sized companies and start-ups.
Top European politicians are a regular presence amongst the contingent of around 40 renowned speakers, which in recent years have included the Prime Ministers of France, Greece, Italy and Russia. The Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel also speaks regularly at the Süddeutsche Zeitung’s Economic Summit.
Instead of long-winded speeches, the Süddeutsche Zeitung’s Economic Summit offers wide-ranging discussions, cross-examinations and debates, moderated by leading editors from the Süddeutsche Zeitung. Our congress is also the ideal location to cultivate networks and establish new contacts.
