David Martus is based in Boulder, Colorado and is responsible for marketing and raising capital for G2-sponsored and third-party investment partnerships from institutions in the West Coast region of the U.S. and Canada. Prior to joining the Forbes Private Capital Group, he was a Director of Investor Relations at Pegasus Capital Advisors where he oversaw investor relations, marketing and internal firm strategic development efforts. Before Pegasus Capital Advisors, Mr. Martus spent eight years as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Colorado PERA where he oversaw a $4.6 billion global portfolio (invested and committed capital) of private equity, venture capital, distressed debt, mezzanine, oil & gas and timber investments. He was an active participant on numerous partnership Advisory Boards and observer to the Board of Directors for several co-investments. Mr. Martus graduated with a B.S. in Recreation and an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
