Marin Kim is Vice President at G2 Investment Group, where she oversees Special Projects and International Investments. Prior to joining G2, she formed part of the management team for Colombian artist Shakira, where she focused on long term strategy and brand development. Prior, Ms. Kim worked at JPMorgan's Private Equity Principal Investing Group, a $3bn proprietary business within the Investment Bank, deploying capital in co-invest opportunities across industries including industrials, consumer products, healthcare, financial services and natural resources. She formed part of a 6-person team in charge of building that business. Ms. Kim began her career in the Latin America Investment Banking Group at JPMorgan in New York, where she worked on numerous M&A transactions as well as equity and debt offerings in the region. A citizen of Bolivia, Ms. Kim graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a major in Economics. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
