Mary Kunka is a Senior Vice President at G2 Real Estate Partners. Prior to joining G2, Ms. Kunka spent 17 years at Lehman Brothers, most recently as the head of Commercial Mortgage Structuring within the Global Real Estate Group. In her role, she was responsible for structuring commercial real estate transactions for Lehman and its clients, including pooled multi-borrower securitizations, single-asset/single-borrower securitizations, and fixed- and floating-rate transactions. Ms. Kunka’s responsibilities included developing and maintaining proprietary models for loan pricing and evaluation of securitization exit, evaluating hedge positions for both loan and securities positions, maintaining the Lehman Brothers CMBS Index and providing analytical support to clients and the CMBS Trading desk. Prior to her role in the Global Real Estate Group, Ms. Kunka managed the Whole Loan Modeling Group. Before joining Lehman Brothers, Ms. Kunka was an analyst at Salomon Brothers in their Collateralized Mortgage Obligations (“CMO”) Modeling Group where she was responsible for reverse engineering mortgage-backed securities and credit card transactions and closing Salomon’s CMO transactions. Ms. Kunka graduated with honors from St. Michael’s College with a B.S. in Mathematics.
