Norris Lam is based in Hong Kong and oversees the direct investment and capital raising activities for G2-sponsored and third-party investment partnerships in Asia. Prior to joining G2 Asia and Forbes PCG, she was a Managing Director at Guggenheim Securities, Hong Kong, where she led its capital raising efforts for private funds, secondary and co-investments. From 2004 to 2008, Ms. Lam was a Director at HSBC Alternative Investment Group in Hong Kong, where she raised over $1 billion for private equity and hedge funds in Greater China. From 2002 to 2004, she was Vice President at Guggenheim Partners in New York, where she was responsible for due diligence on hedge fund and private equity funds. Prior to Guggenheim Partners, Ms. Lam was an Associate at Alcatel e-Business Group in San Francisco, handling direct investments, mergers & acquisitions and strategic planning. After graduating college, she was selected as one of three trainees for a global program at HSBC Asset Management in London, New York and Hong Kong. Ms. Lam graduated with a B.A. in International Business from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and was a visiting student at Brown University. Norris is an adjunct professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and Taiwanese.
