Trevor Neilson is Managing Director at G2 Investment Group. He was Co-Founder and served as President of Global Philanthropy Group, a company that advises the world's leading philanthropists. Mr. Neilson has provided strategic counsel and investment advice to Bill Gates, Bono, Brad Pitt, President Bill Clinton, Howard Buffett, Sir Richard Branson and other clients and has been involved in the creation and implementation of many of the world's most respected philanthropic initiatives. Before founding the Global Philanthropy Group, he served as Executive Director of the Global Business Coalition which was created with investments from Bill Gates, George Soros and Ted Turner and represented more than 220 multinational companies with interests related to global health. Prior to his work with the Global Business Coalition, Mr. Neilson served as the Director of Public Affairs and Director of Special Projects for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He served on the national steering committee for Cleantech and Green Business Leaders for Obama, a constituency group of President-elect Obama's campaign, and continues to play an active role in the Obama Administration. Mr. Neilson attended Washington State University.
